(ATLANTA, GA) – Route Runna Management and Media Girls Network in partnership with Def Jam hosted an exclusive press mixer event at the Atlanta based tech headquarters KITT LABS in honor of singer, songwriter, actress and newest Def Jam Artist, CoCo Jones. Dubbed The Bel-Air Princess after awing crowds with her performance as Hilary Banks in Peacock’s “Bel-Air”, the singer, songwriter, actress and content creator has gained the full attention of audiences with her powerful vocals upon the release of her newest single “Caliber”. With a following of more than 1.2 million followers on instagram and hundreds of thousands on YouTube and Tik Tok ,Coco Jones has set the bar high with not only her incredible portrayal of a beloved cultural icon but with her enchanting voice and charismatic presence. Hosted by Atlanta’s own Krystal “KG” Garner, and Media Girl Network’s April B, the energy was upbeat and contagious as everyone awaited the arrival of Coco. With all of Atlanta’s top media outlets, correspondents, and artists in attendance at this exclusive event we were able to hear all about her newest projects and her single Caliber from Miss CoCo herself during live Q&As with Forbes, HLN, The Source, On Site, and several other major platforms. Def Jam in partnership with Route Runna Management, and Media Girls Network introduced Atlantans to Coco Jones singer and powerhouse, whose impeccable vocals, charisma, and lyricism connected her with the who’s who of Atlanta. During Coco Jones ATL Media Meet & Greet, Bossip’s Liz Smith moderated a live Q&A with artist “Coco Jones” that allowed fans to get better acquainted with the artist and what she truly represents for the culture! The buzz didn’t stop there Q&A’s were also hosted by The Source’s Jiggy Jones, followed by  Good Day Atlanta’s Brandolyn Hellams and HLN’s Lakia Smith! Guests enjoyed live sounds by DJ XO complimentary lite bites by Celebrity Chef Alabama Ali , Cocktails sponsored by Patron, and a 360 photo booth sponsored by Snap 360. Celebrity photographer and disabled Vietnam veteran Jerome Dorn embodies the very definition of resilience. Born in Philadelphia, the fifth of seven children, Dorn stayed focused throughout his youth, eventually obtaining his degree in Criminal Justice. Dorn has worked with the Philadelphia Police Department, Department of Justice, World Wide Detective Agency, and several other high profile security groups. Throughout his successful career, Dorn wrestled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, an aftereffect of his military service. Battling the pain and debilitating effect of PTSD, Dorn found comfort behind the camera. Photography proved to be not only therapeutic, but life changing as well. Dorn picked up his first camera in 1970 while serving in Vietnam and knew instantly that behind the lens was where he belonged. His shooting style and photographs were special, generating a buzz in the industry. In 1985, he began his career in photojournalism, working in a variety of genres. Dorn’s credentials include fashion, lifestyle photography, photojournalism, and celebrity/red carpet coverage. Working with MSNBC, Jet Magazine, and major publications in Philadelphia and around the country, Dorn has had the honor of capturing the images of hundreds of notable celebrities and politicians including President Barack Obama, George Bush Jr, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Maya Angelou, Jesse Jackson, Rihanna, Snoop Dog, Will Smith, and Tyler Perry. Photography has sent Dorn around the globe, inspiring his passion for civil activism. In 1995, Dorn assembled and led a group of forty-two men to the Million Man March. Together, they spent five days walking from Philadelphia to Washington DC. In his travels, Dorn observed a common theme amongst the youth of the world. Many of the children he encountered seemed lost. Understanding that opportunities for at-risk youth are minimal, Dorn was inspired to make a difference. Established by Dorn in 2011, InDaHouseMedia was built on the idea that there is room in the house for everyone. With InDaHouseMedia, Dorn’s mission is to provide the future generation with positive direction through sports, music, and photography.
