The Annual Event Convenes in Atlanta and is a Pinnacle Opportunity in Preparing Local Recording Artists Emerging into the Professional Music Industry

Atlanta, Georgia – June 13, 2024 – The vibrant heartbeat of Atlanta’s music scene pulses stronger than ever as the city eagerly anticipates the 2024 VDAY Concert. Headlined by esteemed Hip-Hop/Rap recording artists such as Rich Homie Quan, Derez De’shon, Omeretta The Great, Lil Tony, Pap Chanel, and more, this concert promises to be the highlight of Summer 2024 entertainment in Atlanta.

Taking place on Friday, July 26, 2024, the VDAY Concert will unfold at The Eastern, a premier event venue situated at 800 Old Flat Shoals Road, Atlanta, Georgia 30316. Proudly produced by The Branding Opportunity and generously sponsored by Arrowhead Clinics, this event is set to captivate audiences with its stellar lineup and immersive experience.

At the helm of the VDAY Concert is Justice Brannon, Executive Producer and Creative Director of The Branding Opportunity, LLC. A native of Atlanta, Justice brings a wealth of expertise in strategic marketing and content development, cultivated through his academic pursuits at the University of Alabama, where he graduated with a BA in Journalism in 2020, followed by a Masters degree in Advertising and Public Relations in 2023.

Driven by a passion for live entertainment, music, film, sports, and comedy since childhood, Justice underscores the concert’s overarching mission: to provide invaluable professional development opportunities for local recording artists, empowering them to refine their music marketing strategies and broaden their audience reach.

Unlike conventional concerts and music festivals, VDAY is a family affair, spearheaded by Justice alongside his brother Austin Brannon, a budding business student at Morehouse College, and their father, Virgil Brannon, a seasoned music industry veteran with over 30 years of experience in artist management.

Embracing the spirit of collaboration and community empowerment, VDAY partners with young, local entrepreneurs, offering them a platform to showcase their talents and contribute to the event’s success. Justice emphasizes, “Every artist is a business, and we are here to offer our services to help them either expand it or rebrand it.”

For Justice, VDAY is more than just a creative endeavor; it’s a nostalgic homage to cherished childhood memories and a culmination of his educational and professional journey. It symbolizes the convergence of diverse entertainment realms, transcending barriers of age, race, and ethnicity to unite communities through the universal language of music and live performance.

With its eclectic fusion of musical genres and commitment to inclusivity, VDAY aspires to cement its status as a cornerstone of Atlanta’s entertainment landscape. Beyond mere entertainment, it seeks to inspire and uplift aspiring artists, serving as a beacon of hope and a catalyst for creative expression.

The doors to the VDAY Concert will open at 7:00pm, with the electrifying sounds of DJ Monae from Streetz 94.5 setting the stage for an unforgettable evening of music and celebration. The Branding Opportunity proudly leads as the headlining corporate sponsor joined by Arrowhead Clinic as the event’s advertising sponsor.

Celebrity photographer and disabled Vietnam veteran Jerome Dorn embodies the very definition of resilience. Born in Philadelphia, the fifth of seven children, Dorn stayed focused throughout his youth, eventually obtaining his degree in Criminal Justice. Dorn has worked with the Philadelphia Police Department, Department of Justice, World Wide Detective Agency, and several other high profile security groups. Throughout his successful career, Dorn wrestled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, an aftereffect of his military service. Battling the pain and debilitating effect of PTSD, Dorn found comfort behind the camera. Photography proved to be not only therapeutic, but life changing as well. Dorn picked up his first camera in 1970 while serving in Vietnam and knew instantly that behind the lens was where he belonged. His shooting style and photographs were special, generating a buzz in the industry. In 1985, he began his career in photojournalism, working in a variety of genres. Dorn’s credentials include fashion, lifestyle photography, photojournalism, and celebrity/red carpet coverage. Working with MSNBC, Jet Magazine, and major publications in Philadelphia and around the country, Dorn has had the honor of capturing the images of hundreds of notable celebrities and politicians including President Barack Obama, George Bush Jr, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Maya Angelou, Jesse Jackson, Rihanna, Snoop Dog, Will Smith, and Tyler Perry. Photography has sent Dorn around the globe, inspiring his passion for civil activism. In 1995, Dorn assembled and led a group of forty-two men to the Million Man March. Together, they spent five days walking from Philadelphia to Washington DC. In his travels, Dorn observed a common theme amongst the youth of the world. Many of the children he encountered seemed lost. Understanding that opportunities for at-risk youth are minimal, Dorn was inspired to make a difference. Established by Dorn in 2011, InDaHouseMedia was built on the idea that there is room in the house for everyone. With InDaHouseMedia, Dorn’s mission is to provide the future generation with positive direction through sports, music, and photography.
