Stockbridge, Georgia, is set to usher in a vibrant chapter of cultural enrichment with the grand opening of the VyStar Amphitheater at The Bridge. Formerly known as the Stockbridge Amphitheater, this 3,600-seat, state-of-the-art venue will host a free community event on Friday, April 25, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., marking its official renaming and celebrating its commitment to the arts and community engagement.

Located at 4650 North Henry Boulevard, directly behind City Hall, the amphitheater has been a cornerstone for diverse performances since its opening in September 2021. The partnership between the City of Stockbridge and VyStar Credit Union signifies more than a name change; it represents a shared vision to enhance the cultural landscape of the region. “This amphitheater represents more than just a venue; it symbolizes our dedication to being an integral part of the Stockbridge and Metro Atlanta community,” said Janean Armstrong, VyStar’s Georgia Market President.

Event Highlights:

Attendees will also get a sneak peek at the exciting 2025 concert season lineup, featuring performances by acclaimed artists such as Anthony Hamilton, Xscape, 112, Dru Hill, Silk, Carl Thomas, and Ledisi. This season promises to deliver unforgettable experiences, with VyStar members enjoying unique benefits like early access to presale tickets and special discounts.

Beyond entertainment, VyStar Credit Union’s involvement underscores its dedication to community development. In 2024, VyStar donated over $7 million to more than 400 nonprofit organizations, with employees contributing over 39,000 volunteer hours. Their initiatives, including the Military Ticket Program, offer exclusive discounts to active-duty military personnel and veterans, reinforcing their commitment to service members.

As Stockbridge Mayor Anthony S. Ford aptly stated, “The VyStar Amphitheater at The Bridge will not only enhance our local arts scene but also stimulate economic growth by attracting visitors and residents.”
