Kamiyah Wilson: A Shining Star with a Heart of Gold

At just five years old, Kamiyah Wilson of Fayetteville, North Carolina, has already established herself as a young leader and rising star in her community. A student at Alpha Academy, Kamiyah has a natural charm, a giving spirit, and an impressive list of accomplishments that prove she’s destined for greatness.

This holiday season, Kamiyah added two prestigious titles to her growing résumé: Christmas Ambassador and Mini Majestic, earned during the recent NC Christmas Angel pageant. These achievements celebrate her remarkable talent and her extraordinary generosity, as she continues to inspire others with her kindness and determination.

The Christmas Ambassador

Kamiyah’s title as Christmas Ambassador came as a result of her dedication to supporting the Toys for Tots campaign. This title is awarded to the child who raises the most sponsorship donations, and Kamiyah took on the challenge with enthusiasm and a heartfelt mission to make the holiday season brighter for others.

Through her efforts, Kamiyah rallied support from family, friends, and her community, making a meaningful impact on children in need. Her mother, Rayshonda Wilson, shared her pride, saying, “Kamiyah’s love for giving and helping others is simply beautiful. She’s always thinking of ways to spread joy.”

The Mini Majestic Crown

In addition to her philanthropic win, Kamiyah also earned the Mini Majestic title, a coveted honor awarded to the contestant with the highest overall score in the 0–6-year-old age division. With her radiant smile, baby blue and pink outfits (her favorite colors), and undeniable talent, Kamiyah captured the judges’ hearts and made a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.

Kamiyah’s support system includes her devoted parents, Rayshonda Wilson and godparents Deidra Moyd and Walter Ford, who have played a vital role in nurturing her talents and values. As Kamiyah balances school at Alpha Academy and her growing pageant career, her passion for helping others remains at the forefront of her journey.

Her dual victories this season are more than just crowns; they reflect a young girl’s ability to lead with heart, inspire others, and make an impact. Kamiyah’s story is a beautiful reminder that no matter your age, greatness begins with compassion.
