Womens March in Washington D.C.

This past weekend January 21, 2017, more than 4 million individuals including women, men and children of all color, gender, and ages paticipated in this women march that went world-wide. Everybody marched for women rights and equality. Majority of the Peaceful protest became uncommon in November once president Donald trump became our elected new president.
The march became nationwide in other cities like Utah, Oakland, New York, Boston, and Vermont. Families are scared for their own lives and want to live in peace. Participants and activist have made it known that the protest is not because of the inauguration. Washington, D.C. Is making history . It also started first with the march on Saturday January 14, 2017 for the march to the Martin Luther King memorial downtown D.C. The LGBT community is making their mark as well. Millions are fighting for LGBQIA rights. Civil rights, and stopping violence in 600 other cities.
Activist and groups are making changes with little money to none. Everyone is supporting advocacy and resistance movement. There were committees for marketing, logistics, and many more. Women do not appreciate the comment Trump made about access Hollywood tape.
Trump is trying to reduce funding for reproductive health research and planned parenthood. Women are also taking offense of the way Trump treated his opponent Hilary Clinton during the election.
