(Los Angeles) Rising songwriter Angel Lea (Ledisi, Estelle, Tamela Mann) released new single “Bullets” in reaction to the lives lost in the senseless Parkland Florida school shooting on February 14. Known for writing hit inspirational power ballads (“Conqueror,” “Better,” “Press,” “Humanity”), the single is a passionate cry for change. The song will be available via iTunes and Amazon as well as available on Spotify. All proceeds from sales will be donated to Moms Demand Action and March For Our Lives.
“I wrote this song after the Parkland shooting and after watching Emma Gonzalez’s “We Call BS” speech,” states Angel Lea (Higgs). “I’m releasing this song from the heart to help people relate and not become numb to gun violence in this country.”
