DreamBIG Productions Announces Auditions for Soul Train Style TV Dance Show Studio 5.0

ATLANTA (October 11, 2023) — DreamBig Productions is hosting auditions for a new reality television dance show entitled Studio 5.0 Saturday, October 14, 2023 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Plywood Place, 933 Lee Street SW #B1, Atlanta, GA 30310.

This electrifying project is the brainchild of Executive Producer Lynn ‘LA’ Adams King. The show focuses on providing a creative outlet for “seasoned dancers”.While initially featuring episodes centered around R&B and funk dancers, the show intends on diversifying to include other genres such as Latin, Swing, Polka, Country Line Dance, Chicago Steppers, and Hip Hop. Prospective Studio 5.0 dancers must audition in advance and be selected by our celebrity judges.

“In a world where so much is dividing us, dance and music are the great unifiers. We want to return to the days of partying and enjoying life and each other. We invite all ages to party with us and sweat until you funk it up!” said LA, Executive Producer at DreamBig Productions. Studio 5.0 is hosted by former TV talk show host, LA and local Atlanta legend DJ Jelly. Celebrity judges include Classics 102.9fm on-air radio personality and podcaster Donna Schiele, MajicAtl’s Reec Swiney, and Kim Hall, lead singer of Celebrity All Star Band. ConFunkShun lead vocalist and Grammy-award winning artist Felton Pilate is providing live entertainment during the pilot which will be shot immediately following auditions.

Celebrity photographer and disabled Vietnam veteran Jerome Dorn embodies the very definition of resilience. Born in Philadelphia, the fifth of seven children, Dorn stayed focused throughout his youth, eventually obtaining his degree in Criminal Justice. Photography has sent Dorn around the globe, inspiring his passion for civil activism. In 1995, Dorn assembled and led a group of forty-two men to the Million Man March. Together, they spent five days walking from Philadelphia to Washington DC. In his travels, Dorn observed a common theme amongst the youth of the world. Many of the children he encountered seemed lost. Understanding that opportunities for at-risk youth are minimal, Dorn was inspired to make a difference.
