The Stockbridge Amphitheater had a packed house of adoring fans this past Saturday, October 5th, 2024, as Monica, Sevyn Streeter, and Tamar Braxton took to the stage to perform their slew of hits at a sold out concert. The ladies of R&B were also accompanied by charismatic host Niecey Shaw (Radio One Atlanta) to deliver an unforgettable performance for attendees. The performance was a special salute to the Ladies of the Divine 9 which honored the legacies and contributions of the prominent sororities, Alpha Kappa Alpha, Delta Sigma Theta, Zeta Phi Beta, and Sigma Gamma Rho. The musical performance served as a night to pay tribute and celebrate the sisterhood and empowerment of these trailblazing organizations. 

Monica, a Grammy Award-winning singer and actress, headlined the event. Performing chart-topping hits like “Angel of Mine” and “Don’t Take it Personal,” with a soulful sound and timeless voice that has grasped the attention of R&B fans for over two decades. 

Monica was joined by the versatile Sevyn Streeter, known for her work as a singer-songwriter with hits like “It Won’t Stop” and collaborations with Chris Brown, and Tamar Braxton, a powerhouse vocalist, television personality, and the youngest of the legendary Braxton family.
