When asked about the upcoming performance, the band’s manager and final manager to Frankie Beverly, Deborah Beverly-Pugh says, “We are so excited to be returning to New Orleans for the Jazz Festival. It was always one of Frank’s favorite events and though he won’t be with us physically, we’re happy to continue to carry his spirit with us while we continue his legacy. So, we’re encouraging all of the fans to come out wearing their all-white ensembles and party with us as we honor my cousin’s rich legacy of music for the soul.”
