Empowerment Events

Cheryl Cobb has joined the distinguished lineup of speakers and special guests appearing at the 12th Annual Ubiquitous Women’s Expo (UBE), taking place August 21–23, 2026, at The Hall at Live! in Hanover, Maryland.

A respected entertainment talent manager, bestselling author, podcast host, and inspirational speaker, Cheryl Cobb will bring her powerful message of hope, healing, and reinvention to one of the country’s premier events dedicated to empowering multicultural women.

With more than 25 years in the entertainment industry, Cobb has built an extraordinary career as a former General Manager at Universal Records and a talent manager whose clients have earned Grammy Awards.

Known for helping artists build lasting careers and cultural legacies, she is now inspiring audiences in an entirely new way, empowering women to embrace new beginnings and live fearlessly.

Her latest book, 10 Dirty Lil Secrets That Nobody Wants to Tell You About Internet Dating, has resonated with readers by offering candid, real-world advice about modern dating, relationships, healing, boundaries, and self-worth.

Drawing from her own experiences of divorce, navigating online dating, finding love again, and surviving cancer, Cheryl offers readers more than dating advice, she provides a roadmap for rebuilding confidence and embracing life’s next chapter.

Through her signature “Four Seasons of Love” framework, The Representative, The Switch, The Pressure, and The Reveal, Cobb helps readers recognize relationship patterns, manage expectations, and make healthier choices while navigating today’s dating landscape.

Now, Cheryl is expanding that mission through the relaunch of her popular podcast, Sippin’ Tea with Cheryl Cobb, where she hosts authentic conversations about love, relationships, healing, purpose, and personal growth. Available on all major streaming platforms, the podcast encourages listeners to stop settling, release fear, and believe that meaningful love is still possible.

Cobb shares, “Love isn’t about finding the perfect person, it’s about becoming the healthiest version of yourself so you can recognize the right one when they arrive.

My journey through divorce, online dating, marriage, and cancer taught me that every season has a purpose.

If sharing my story gives someone the courage to believe in love again, then every challenge was worth it.”

Celebrity photographer and disabled Vietnam veteran Jerome Dorn embodies the very definition of resilience. Born in Philadelphia, the fifth of seven children, Dorn stayed focused throughout his youth, eventually obtaining his degree in Criminal Justice. Dorn has worked with the Philadelphia Police Department, Department of Justice, World Wide Detective Agency, and several other high profile security groups. Throughout his successful career, Dorn wrestled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, an aftereffect of his military service. Battling the pain and debilitating effect of PTSD, Dorn found comfort behind the camera. Photography proved to be not only therapeutic, but life changing as well. Dorn picked up his first camera in 1970 while serving in Vietnam and knew instantly that behind the lens was where he belonged. His shooting style and photographs were special, generating a buzz in the industry. In 1985, he began his career in photojournalism, working in a variety of genres. Dorn’s credentials include fashion, lifestyle photography, photojournalism, and celebrity/red carpet coverage. Working with MSNBC, Jet Magazine, and major publications in Philadelphia and around the country, Dorn has had the honor of capturing the images of hundreds of notable celebrities and politicians including President Barack Obama, George Bush Jr, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Maya Angelou, Jesse Jackson, Rihanna, Snoop Dog, Will Smith, and Tyler Perry. Photography has sent Dorn around the globe, inspiring his passion for civil activism. In 1995, Dorn assembled and led a group of forty-two men to the Million Man March. Together, they spent five days walking from Philadelphia to Washington DC. In his travels, Dorn observed a common theme amongst the youth of the world. Many of the children he encountered seemed lost. Understanding that opportunities for at-risk youth are minimal, Dorn was inspired to make a difference. Established by Dorn in 2011, InDaHouseMedia was built on the idea that there is room in the house for everyone. With InDaHouseMedia, Dorn’s mission is to provide the future generation with positive direction through sports, music, and photography.
