Bria Cheri: A Rising Star with Unstoppable Passion

From Jamaica Queens to Long Island, Bria Cheri has been carving her own path in the world of music and entertainment with undeniable talent, dedication, and heart. A graduate of Long Island University Post with a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Public Relations, Bria embodies the spirit of a multifaceted creative. She is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., a singer-songwriter, dancer, pianist, and aspiring actress who has spent over a decade perfecting her craft.

Bria’s journey began not only with music but also through storytelling and media. While at LIU, she hosted and managed her own radio show, FLAVA, giving a platform to independent artists. After graduation, she continued that mission, volunteering her time with stations such as KFSM Radio, FreedomKRadio, WRDR Radio, Rebel 107.9, and Radiomga.com—promoting rising talent and helping voices be heard. Her love for music is as diverse as her personality, drawing influence from rock, jazz, house, and hip-hop, which allowed her to embrace every genre and every artist with open arms.

Her evolution as a recording artist has been guided by mentorship and collaboration. Under the guidance of Donnie Klang—singer, songwriter, and producer formerly signed to Bad Boy Records and winner of MTV’s Making the Band 4—Bria released her debut EP, Before the Music, followed by Silent Siren Vol. 1. Both projects were produced at The Loft Sound Studio, LLC in Syosset, NY, which Klang co-owns with Matthew LaPorter. In 2023, Bria unveiled her third EP, Phoenix, produced by Raphael Gibbs of Become Elite Media, LLC. This body of work reflects her growth both as an artist and as a woman, and includes the fan-favorite single “Don’t Worry,” which she brought to life with a stunning video on YouTube.

Her momentum only continues to build. In April 2023, Bria had the honor of meeting and opening for hip-hop legend Styles P of The Lox at Bullet Proof Studios in New Jersey—an experience that underscored her rising presence in the industry. By 2024, she was on stage at the So Fly So Fabulous Fashion Show in New York City, delivering a performance that brought music and fashion together in unforgettable harmony. That same year, Bria sat down with the iconic Sway on SiriusXM’s Sway in the Morning, giving a national audience a glimpse into her artistry, her journey, and her vision for the future.

Now, Bria Cheri is preparing for her next chapter with the release of her new single, “Boy Toy,” dropping September 9, 2025. Produced by Donnie Klang with songwriting collaborator Kyle Davidson, the track playfully explores roles in dating with an upbeat, energetic sound. It is yet another testament to her versatility and commitment to pushing creative boundaries.

With an ever-growing catalog of music—available at briacheri.bandcamp.com—and performances that continue to captivate audiences, Bria Cheri is proof that passion, perseverance, and authenticity can light the way to greatness. Her story is still being written, but one thing is certain: she is a voice of her generation, and the best is yet to come.

Celebrity photographer and disabled Vietnam veteran Jerome Dorn embodies the very definition of resilience. Born in Philadelphia, the fifth of seven children, Dorn stayed focused throughout his youth, eventually obtaining his degree in Criminal Justice. Dorn has worked with the Philadelphia Police Department, Department of Justice, World Wide Detective Agency, and several other high profile security groups. Throughout his successful career, Dorn wrestled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, an aftereffect of his military service. Battling the pain and debilitating effect of PTSD, Dorn found comfort behind the camera. Photography proved to be not only therapeutic, but life changing as well. Dorn picked up his first camera in 1970 while serving in Vietnam and knew instantly that behind the lens was where he belonged. His shooting style and photographs were special, generating a buzz in the industry. In 1985, he began his career in photojournalism, working in a variety of genres. Dorn’s credentials include fashion, lifestyle photography, photojournalism, and celebrity/red carpet coverage. Working with MSNBC, Jet Magazine, and major publications in Philadelphia and around the country, Dorn has had the honor of capturing the images of hundreds of notable celebrities and politicians including President Barack Obama, George Bush Jr, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Maya Angelou, Jesse Jackson, Rihanna, Snoop Dog, Will Smith, and Tyler Perry. Photography has sent Dorn around the globe, inspiring his passion for civil activism. In 1995, Dorn assembled and led a group of forty-two men to the Million Man March. Together, they spent five days walking from Philadelphia to Washington DC. In his travels, Dorn observed a common theme amongst the youth of the world. Many of the children he encountered seemed lost. Understanding that opportunities for at-risk youth are minimal, Dorn was inspired to make a difference. Established by Dorn in 2011, InDaHouseMedia was built on the idea that there is room in the house for everyone. With InDaHouseMedia, Dorn’s mission is to provide the future generation with positive direction through sports, music, and photography.
