Nouveau Bar and Grill’s Second Location in Jonesboro announces July 25th as the Official Grand Opening Date of ‘Nouveau @ Broad Street

There will be lots of surprises on July 25th, announced at the grand opening. We plan on creating the ultimate experience, paying some college tuitions and raising lots of money donated to Clayton County schools via ticket sales .” – Ebony Austin

In May of 2021 the owner of Nouveau Bar & Grill Ebony Austin, announced that she would be expanding her business and opening a new location. Austin chose Jonesboro to support the Broad Street Project, (a plan to boost the city’s economy by opening new restaurants, businesses and adding a park). The new home of ‘Nouveau @ Broad Street’ in Jonesboro was formerly a fire house. Folks are going to love the new decor of the building that will feature the 4 firehouse doors that will remain, two bars on the inside and a makeshift bar on the outside to best serve those who chose to brunch on the extended patio. There will be a private hookah lounge room, big screen television monitors and an amazing kitchen.

“We will also be adding to our current menu and including some speciality items that will only be available at the Jonesboro location,” says owner Ebony Austin. After living in Atlanta full-time for almost 2 years and having a successful 1 year + new restaurant run amidst a worldwide pandemic; Nouveau in College Park, GA was able to withstand the test through offering a limited menu with to-go order business and build relationships with new customers who simply became fans of their tasty food items.

Fried lobster tails, sticky ribs (made with a special Nouveau batter and Ebony Austin’s specialty seasonings), lamb chops and house special feature “The Ultimate” Shrimp, Salmon, Crab meat and grits are just a few of the menu items that people have become addicted to. Patrons of Nouveau on Broad Street in Jonesboro will experience a never before seen Grand Opening hosted by Mimosa Jams. The creators of the popular Mimosa Jam Brunch. It will be an evening of live entertainment and performances on the outdoor stage. Guests will definitely be knocked off their feet from the whole new ‘Nouveau @ Broad Street’ experience.

Ebony Austin is a diehard philanthropist. Instead of the typical grand opening celebration the evening will kick off with a Back to School Drive at 5pm (providing school supplies & backpacks). At 7pm begins the party until 11:30pm! The #NouveauCommunity is excited to be coming to Jonesboro. Tickets for the event can be purchased via eventbrite for $50.00. All money will be donated to Clayton County Schools; however for your $50.00 ticket purchase you will receive your choice of 2 samplers (Buffalo Shrimp/ Shrimp & Grits/Catfish & Grits /Spinach Dip).
