Marcus Jordan celebrates another major career milestone as his uplifting single “I Can” reaches #1 on Billboard’s Gospel Airplay Chart#2 on Mediabase, and #18 on the Hot Gospel Songs Chart

This achievement marks Marcus Jordan’s second Billboard Number 1, following the continued success of his 2021 single “Call on The Name.”

Originally released in 2018 on his album I Will Bless the Lord, “I Can” is a deeply personal anthem written by Marcus Jordan and produced by Nicholas Johnson.

The powerful message behind the song was inspired by a season of personal hardship and spiritual growth, and now—years later—it continues to uplift listeners across the country with its bold declaration of perseverance and faith.

“‘I Can’ is a testament to my mission of inspiring hope, strength, and faith through music,” says Marcus Jordan. “This song is really special to me because it was the first song I ever wrote. Now it is receiving more recognition than I could imagine. Reaching Number 1 again is not just a personal achievement, but a reminder of the power of faith and perseverance.”

The song’s emotional roots stem from Jordan’s real-life testimony of facing disappointment and choosing faith over defeat. That moment of surrender became a catalyst for his music ministry — one that has now reached new heights.

Jordan’s 2021 single “Call on The Name” debuted at #3 on the iTunes Christian & Gospel Chart, setting the stage for his momentum in gospel music.

His most recent EP, My Life, debuted at #4 on the iTunes Christian & Gospel Chart and an impressive #53 across all genres, solidifying his influence both within and beyond the gospel community.

““God truly saved my life. We have to build a strong relationship with Christ because we never know what life will bring. Trials are a part of the journey—but through it all, we must call on the Lord. He is faithful,” Jordan reflects.

From his 2018 debut single “You Are Here” to this latest #1, Marcus Jordan continues to rise — powered by purpose, passion, and his commitment to sharing the transformative love of Christ through music.
