Pro-Mingle After Dark Golf Social Teams Up with Golf For Change to Light Up the Fairways for a Cause

By Mwanza Klonji

Stockbridge, GA – September 8, 2025 — The Evan Oglesby Foundation is set to deliver one of the most innovative and purpose-driven golf events of the year. On Saturday, September 20, 2025, the Pro-Mingle After Dark Golf Social will take over the Rum Creek Golf Course in Stockbridge, GA, in partnership with Golf For Change, for an electrifying night of sports, music, networking, and community impact.

This isn’t your typical golf outing. The event will transform the greens into a glowing playground of LED-lit targets, live entertainment, and endless opportunities to connect—all while raising funds to empower underserved youth through academics, athletics, and character development.

“Golf is more than a game—it’s a platform for connection, opportunity, and positive change,” said Evan Oglesby, former NFL player and Founder of the Evan Oglesby Foundation. “Partnering with Golf For Change allows us to combine our shared vision of creating brighter futures for young people while delivering an extraordinary experience for the community.”

A Night of Partying with a Purpose

From the moment the sun sets, the fairways will come alive with neon energy. Guests will enjoy:

  • Glow-in-the-dark golf across a 9-hole course
  • LED targets for an exciting twist on the game
  • Live music and DJ entertainment to keep the vibes high
  • Food, drinks, and local vendors offering a taste of Stockbridge’s best
  • Networking opportunities with business professionals, pro athletes, and community leaders

It’s more than a golf tournament—it’s a social experience that blends fun with philanthropy.

Double the Impact: Evan Oglesby Foundation x Golf For Change

Both organizations share a passion for youth empowerment. By teaming up, they aim to expand resources and extend opportunities to young people who need them most. Golf For Change has built its reputation on using the sport as a catalyst for social good, breaking barriers, and uniting communities. Together with the Evan Oglesby Foundation, the event’s impact reaches beyond the fairways, inspiring the next generation of leaders.

Celebrity photographer and disabled Vietnam veteran Jerome Dorn embodies the very definition of resilience. Born in Philadelphia, the fifth of seven children, Dorn stayed focused throughout his youth, eventually obtaining his degree in Criminal Justice. Dorn has worked with the Philadelphia Police Department, Department of Justice, World Wide Detective Agency, and several other high profile security groups. Throughout his successful career, Dorn wrestled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, an aftereffect of his military service. Battling the pain and debilitating effect of PTSD, Dorn found comfort behind the camera. Photography proved to be not only therapeutic, but life changing as well. Dorn picked up his first camera in 1970 while serving in Vietnam and knew instantly that behind the lens was where he belonged. His shooting style and photographs were special, generating a buzz in the industry. In 1985, he began his career in photojournalism, working in a variety of genres. Dorn’s credentials include fashion, lifestyle photography, photojournalism, and celebrity/red carpet coverage. Working with MSNBC, Jet Magazine, and major publications in Philadelphia and around the country, Dorn has had the honor of capturing the images of hundreds of notable celebrities and politicians including President Barack Obama, George Bush Jr, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Maya Angelou, Jesse Jackson, Rihanna, Snoop Dog, Will Smith, and Tyler Perry. Photography has sent Dorn around the globe, inspiring his passion for civil activism. In 1995, Dorn assembled and led a group of forty-two men to the Million Man March. Together, they spent five days walking from Philadelphia to Washington DC. In his travels, Dorn observed a common theme amongst the youth of the world. Many of the children he encountered seemed lost. Understanding that opportunities for at-risk youth are minimal, Dorn was inspired to make a difference. Established by Dorn in 2011, InDaHouseMedia was built on the idea that there is room in the house for everyone. With InDaHouseMedia, Dorn’s mission is to provide the future generation with positive direction through sports, music, and photography.
