Taylor Ayanna Is Your Next Favorite Singer and Actress

A Multi-Faceted Star Forging Her Own Legacy

Some artists arrive quietly. Others make an entrance that feels inevitable, like a light meant to shine. Taylor Ayanna is one of those artists.

The 24-year-old Houston-born singer, songwriter, actress, and model is effortlessly stepping into her own, carving a creative identity that blends powerful storytelling, soulful expression, and undeniable star quality.

The daughter of gospel legend Yolanda Adams, Taylor Ayanna grew up surrounded by artistry and excellence, but she’s not just following in her mother’s footsteps; she’s creating her own path.

With a sound that fuses R&B, pop, and alternative soul, Taylor’s music radiates honesty, emotion, and depth ,qualities that define both her songwriting and her screen presence.

Taylor’s debut single “Show Me” marks the introduction of an artist who sings from the heart and creates from experience.

Released on August 15th, the single quickly gained traction across streaming platforms and social media, with fans connecting to its message of love, clarity, and vulnerability.

The official “Show Me” music video, now live on YouTube (@taylorayanna), captures Taylor’s multidimensional artistry, merging stunning cinematography, choreography, and visual storytelling. Every frame reflects her dedication to detail, performance, and emotion.

‘Show Me’ is a song about honesty and what we all long for in love,” Taylor shares. “This video allowed me to tell that story visually and bring the emotion of the lyrics to life.

While her vocal presence is magnetic, Taylor’s talents run even deeper. She’s also a skilled songwriter, having co-written for her mother’s projects with some of the most respected names in music, including Jimmy Jam & Terry LewisWarrynCampbell, and Harold Lilly

Songs like “Child of God” and “Hero Is Born” showcase her lyrical ability and creative insight far beyond her years.

That experience shaped Taylor’s approach to music, blending the discipline of classic songwriting with the freshness of a new generation’s sound.

Before her musical debut, Taylor had already made her mark as a rising actress

She co-starred in the hit CW drama All American, playing a role that highlighted both her natural presence and emotional range.

Additional credits include Rock the Boat and Picture Me, where she continued to showcase her depth and versatility on screen.

“Acting taught me how to tell a story beyond words,” Taylor says. “When I sing, I think about the emotion of a scene, the tone, the intention. Music and acting are both ways for me to connect with people.”

A proud graduate of Howard University’s Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts, where she trained under legendary figures including Phylicia Rashad, Taylor Ayanna represents a new generation of creators who do it all, and do it well.

Her ability to shift between mediums, from music to acting to modeling , makes her one of today’s most exciting emerging talents.

But what truly sets Taylor apart is her authenticity. She’s not chasing trends; she’s building a body of work that reflects who she is, honest, elegant, and empowered.

While her mother’s legacy in gospel music remains unmatched, Taylor Ayanna is writing her own story, one that honors her roots while breaking new ground.

Whether she’s performing on stage, on screen, or in the studio, she radiates the kind of artistry that can’t be taught, it’s lived.

Taylor Ayanna is not just a rising star, she’s a multi-faceted force of nature, poised to become your next favorite singer, actress, and storyteller.
