Dr. Trina R. Wilson’s New Book  The Courage to Heal Is Now Available on Amazon.com, Offering a Faith Centered Guide to Healing, Breaking Cycles and Becoming Whole

Dr. Trina R. Wilson, licensed social worker, therapist, author, speaker, and wellness advocate, announces the release of her latest book, The Courage to Healnow available on Amazon.com.

A compassionate and practical guide for anyone who has learned to stay strong, remain silent, carry too much, or put everyone else’s needs before their own, The Courage to Heal encourages readers to move beyond simply surviving and begin the deeper journey of healing.

“You have survived, but now you are ready to heal. Healing requires courage, because it asks us to tell the truth about what we have experienced, recognize the patterns that may be holding us back, and give ourselves permission to choose differently. My hope is that this book reminds every reader that they do not have to remain defined by what they have survived.

There is a healthier, more peaceful and purposeful life on the other side of healing.” — Dr. Trina R. Wilson

Through faith centered encouragement, honest reflection, and practical emotional wellness tools, readers will learn how to recognize and release survival patterns that no longer serve them, break unhealthy generational cycles, establish boundaries without guilt, navigate difficult conversations without losing themselves, and practice vulnerability with wisdom and discernment.

The book also addresses the importance of building relationships and daily rhythms that support healing and personal growth.

Complete with reflection exercises and a 30 Day Healing Journey, The Courage to Heal is designed to be more than a book.

It is a practical resource for readers who are ready to reflect, grow, make intentional changes, and embrace a healthier way of living.

Dr. Wilson reminds readers that healing does not require perfection. It requires the courage to tell the truth, receive support, choose differently, and continue becoming whole.

As a therapist and wellness advocate, Dr. Wilson brings her professional experience and commitment to emotional wellness to a book that speaks directly to individuals navigating personal growth, relationships, family patterns, boundaries, and the journey toward becoming whole.

With The Courage to Heal, Dr. Wilson continues her mission of encouraging individuals to acknowledge their experiences, prioritize their emotional wellness, and find the courage to choose healing.

Celebrity photographer and disabled Vietnam veteran Jerome Dorn embodies the very definition of resilience. Born in Philadelphia, the fifth of seven children, Dorn stayed focused throughout his youth, eventually obtaining his degree in Criminal Justice. Dorn has worked with the Philadelphia Police Department, Department of Justice, World Wide Detective Agency, and several other high profile security groups. Throughout his successful career, Dorn wrestled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, an aftereffect of his military service. Battling the pain and debilitating effect of PTSD, Dorn found comfort behind the camera. Photography proved to be not only therapeutic, but life changing as well. Dorn picked up his first camera in 1970 while serving in Vietnam and knew instantly that behind the lens was where he belonged. His shooting style and photographs were special, generating a buzz in the industry. In 1985, he began his career in photojournalism, working in a variety of genres. Dorn’s credentials include fashion, lifestyle photography, photojournalism, and celebrity/red carpet coverage. Working with MSNBC, Jet Magazine, and major publications in Philadelphia and around the country, Dorn has had the honor of capturing the images of hundreds of notable celebrities and politicians including President Barack Obama, George Bush Jr, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Maya Angelou, Jesse Jackson, Rihanna, Snoop Dog, Will Smith, and Tyler Perry. Photography has sent Dorn around the globe, inspiring his passion for civil activism. In 1995, Dorn assembled and led a group of forty-two men to the Million Man March. Together, they spent five days walking from Philadelphia to Washington DC. In his travels, Dorn observed a common theme amongst the youth of the world. Many of the children he encountered seemed lost. Understanding that opportunities for at-risk youth are minimal, Dorn was inspired to make a difference. Established by Dorn in 2011, InDaHouseMedia was built on the idea that there is room in the house for everyone. With InDaHouseMedia, Dorn’s mission is to provide the future generation with positive direction through sports, music, and photography.
