Emerging from Atlanta’s rich musical roots and now thriving in Los Angeles’ creative scene, 21-year-old singer-songwriter 20XII delivers a fresh dose of summer heat with her sultry new single, “Give It To Ya.”

Drawing inspiration from powerhouse artists like Teyana Taylor and Ciara, 20XII fuses smooth R&B vocals with seductive production, showcasing her evolution as a bold, genre-fluid artist.

With a sound that effortlessly blends R&B, techno, and electronic elements, “Give It To Ya” reflects the fearless confidence of a new generation redefining modern music.

Q: How does “Give It To Ya” reflect your current artistic direction?

20XII: This track is really about confidence — owning your feelings and not being afraid to express yourself. It’s sensual, strong, and showcases a more mature side of me. I wanted the vibe to be smooth and magnetic, perfect for late-night moods.

Q: Your sound crosses multiple genres. How do you balance R&B, techno, and electronic influences?

20XII: I grew up loving all kinds of music, so I don’t like to limit myself. I follow whatever feels authentic and exciting. That blend is natural to me because it reflects who I am and the generation I’m part of — one that values freedom and creativity.

Q: Teyana Taylor and Ciara are known for their powerful presence. How have they inspired you?

20XII: They both have this incredible confidence and artistry. Watching them own their sensuality and strength has inspired me to embrace that in my own way. I want to bring that same energy to my music and performances.

Q: What role does storytelling play in your music?

20XII: Storytelling is everything. I look up to artists like Stevie Wonder who create timeless songs because of their emotional honesty. I want to connect with listeners through real experiences and feelings, whether it’s love, strength, or vulnerability.

Q: What can fans expect next from 20XII?

20XII: I’m finishing my debut album, which will have a little bit of everything — soulful ballads, dance tracks, electronic vibes. Plus, I’m diving into acting soon, so it’s an exciting time. I’m just focused on growing and sharing my truth.

Q: Any message for your fans with “Give It To Ya”?

20XII: Be confident in who you are and don’t be afraid to explore your feelings and desires. Life’s about living in the moment and owning your power.
