Multi-genre Billboard-charting artist Tanya Nolan will be joined by R&B singer Kevin Ross for an unforgettable night of music on Friday, February 6, 2026, at The Post Oak Room at The Collective in Houston, TX as part of the Heart & Soul Concert Series.

Tanya Nolan, celebrated for her signature blend of R&B, soul, and jazz-infused melodies, has made 2025 a landmark year in her career.

Her smooth jazz single, “Nobody,” produced by London-based SoulPersona (Morgan Howell), continues to climb jazz charts with its sultry groove, lush horns, and infectious energy.

“Nobody” is a stylish invitation to unwind, dance, and embrace the joy of the weekend.

Her international impact is evident as her hit single, “Let’s Celebrate,” spent 18 consecutive weeks on Shazam’s Top 50 Chart in China, underscoring her global appeal and growing fanbase.

Tanya Nolan is also the first woman from Galveston, Texas, to chart on the Billboard charts with 5 songs, solidifying her place in music history and inspiring artists from her hometown and beyond. 

She is celebrated annually in Galveston, where she was born and raised, with a dedicated Tanya Nolan Day in her honor.

Over the years, Tanya has firmly established her place in music with hits including “Honey,” “Pace Yourself,” “Like Water,” and “Let’s Celebrate”, all collaborations with Grammy award-winning Raheem DeVaughn, and “Good Woman.” Tanya has also collaborated with CeeLo Green on the song “My Best,” further showcasing her versatility and artistry. 

She is the founder of ArtSessionZ, a female-owned music label empowering artists and producing innovative, genre-blending music.

Joining Tanya on February 6 is Kevin Ross, an R&B singer, songwriter, and producer. Known for hits like “Long Song Away” and “Love In The Middle,” Kevin has written for artists including Toni Braxton and Trey Songz and leads his label, Art Society Music Group.

Ross is recognized for his smooth vocals, heartfelt storytelling, and ability to bridge generations of R&B, blending classic sounds from the ’70s and ’80s with ’90s influences, creating music that resonates across audiences worldwide.

Celebrity photographer and disabled Vietnam veteran Jerome Dorn embodies the very definition of resilience. Born in Philadelphia, the fifth of seven children, Dorn stayed focused throughout his youth, eventually obtaining his degree in Criminal Justice. Dorn has worked with the Philadelphia Police Department, Department of Justice, World Wide Detective Agency, and several other high profile security groups. Throughout his successful career, Dorn wrestled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, an aftereffect of his military service. Battling the pain and debilitating effect of PTSD, Dorn found comfort behind the camera. Photography proved to be not only therapeutic, but life changing as well. Dorn picked up his first camera in 1970 while serving in Vietnam and knew instantly that behind the lens was where he belonged. His shooting style and photographs were special, generating a buzz in the industry. In 1985, he began his career in photojournalism, working in a variety of genres. Dorn’s credentials include fashion, lifestyle photography, photojournalism, and celebrity/red carpet coverage. Working with MSNBC, Jet Magazine, and major publications in Philadelphia and around the country, Dorn has had the honor of capturing the images of hundreds of notable celebrities and politicians including President Barack Obama, George Bush Jr, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Maya Angelou, Jesse Jackson, Rihanna, Snoop Dog, Will Smith, and Tyler Perry. Photography has sent Dorn around the globe, inspiring his passion for civil activism. In 1995, Dorn assembled and led a group of forty-two men to the Million Man March. Together, they spent five days walking from Philadelphia to Washington DC. In his travels, Dorn observed a common theme amongst the youth of the world. Many of the children he encountered seemed lost. Understanding that opportunities for at-risk youth are minimal, Dorn was inspired to make a difference. Established by Dorn in 2011, InDaHouseMedia was built on the idea that there is room in the house for everyone. With InDaHouseMedia, Dorn’s mission is to provide the future generation with positive direction through sports, music, and photography.
