THE HITMAKERS LOVE TOUR LIT UP THE TUXEDO BALLROOM IN BIRMINGHAM, ALABAMA

Roger Hill Music transformed the Tuxedo Ballroom in Birmingham, Alabama into an intimate haven of R&B nostalgia as the Hitmakers Love Tour delivered an unforgettable evening of soulful performances, heartfelt moments, and classic hits that filled the room with love.

The night opened with none other than the legendary Cherrelle, who set the tone with her unmistakable voice and timeless stage presence. As the first notes of her performance rang out, the ballroom erupted with excitement. Cherrelle glided through her catalog of hits—“Saturday Love,” “Everything I Miss at Home,” and more—with effortless style. Her energy was vibrant, her vocals crisp, and her connection with the audience undeniable. Fans sang along passionately, some swaying, others capturing every moment on their phones, fully aware they were witnessing R&B royalty up close and personal. Her performance served as the perfect spark to ignite the evening.

Following the electric opening, Roger Hill took the stage and masterfully shifted the atmosphere from nostalgic excitement to soulful storytelling. Hill’s charisma and vocal depth quickly captivated the crowd. He delivered a powerful set that showcased his range as both a performer and a communicator. Whether crooning through smooth mid-tempos or delivering heartfelt ballads, Roger brought warmth, sincerity, and a deeply personal touch to the ballroom. His performance made the room feel like an exclusive gathering among friends—intimate, relaxed, and emotionally resonant.

As the evening progressed, anticipation built for the night’s headliner, the incomparable Howard Hewett. When Hewett finally stepped into the spotlight, the audience rose to their feet. His voice—rich, powerful, and timeless—filled the ballroom with every note. He delivered classics with passion and precision, sparking emotional memories for attendees and reminding everyone why he remains one of R&B’s most enduring and beloved artists. His interaction with the crowd, his effortless command of the stage, and his heartfelt delivery created a magical, once-in-a-lifetime experience.

Every element of the night—from the lineup to the lighting to the intimacy of the venue—made this concert far more than a show. It felt like a celebration of R&B heritage, a tribute to musical excellence, and a reminder of how live music can bring people together in the most unforgettable ways.

Presented by Roger Hill Music, the Hitmakers Love Tour didn’t just entertain Birmingham—it wrapped the city in melody, memory, and love. For one extraordinary evening at the Tuxedo Ballroom, R&B lived, breathed, and blossomed anew.
