Entertainment Powerhouse & Internet Dating Expert Cheryl Cobb Exposes the “Dirty Lil Secrets” Behind Online Dating at the 12th Annual Ubiquitous Women’s Expo

Bestselling Author of 10 Dirty Lil’Secrets That Nobody Wants to Tell You About Internet Dating Reveals the Truth Behind Dating Apps, Fake Profiles, Red Flags, Scams, and the Rules of Engagement You Need Before You Swipe Right

The internet changed how people shop, communicate, and connect, but when it comes to finding love online, many people are still entering the digital dating world without knowing what they are walking into.

Entertainment powerhouse, bestselling author, podcast host, and Internet Dating Expert Cheryl Cobb is changing that conversation.

Cobb will take the Front and Center Stage on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the 12th Annual Ubiquitous Women’s Expo (UBE), taking place August 21–23, 2026, at The Hall at Live! in Hanover, Maryland, where she will deliver an unfiltered look at the realities behind internet dating and reveal the truths many people wish they knew before they ever created a dating profile.

Known for her bold, candid, and no-sugarcoating approach, Cobb is pulling back the curtain on the side of online dating that often stays hidden, the fake personas, mixed signals, red flags, emotional games, scams, and unanswered questions that can leave people frustrated, disappointed, and vulnerable.

Through her latest book, 10 Dirty Lil’ Secrets That Nobody Wants to Tell You About Internet Dating, Cobb tackles the conversations people avoid and exposes what happens behind the screens, messages, profiles, and promises that define today’s dating culture.

The book was written to help women move beyond fear, understand the realities of internet dating, and recognize they do not have to navigate this world alone.

Cobb combines real-world experience, research into dating behaviors, and firsthand insight to provide women with wisdom, confidence, discernment, and hope.

Cobb joins an extraordinary lineup of influential voices and cultural leaders expected at UBE 2026, including celebrity entrepreneurs Da Brat and Jesseca “Judy” Dupart; model, entrepreneur, and television personality Cynthia Bailey; award-winning journalist and media personality Roland Martin, featured during Saturday’s “Motivate II Elevate” programming; television personality and entrepreneur Monique Samuels, featured during Sunday’s “Food for the Soul” programming; Grammy Award-winning gospel artist Le’Andria Johnson; hip-hop legend Big Daddy Kane, appearing during the Black & Bling Party kickoff; and entrepreneur Dr. Karri Bryant.

With a successful career as an entertainment manager, talent manager, and entertainment industry leader, Cobb has spent decades studying people, personalities, communication, and behavior.

Now, she brings that same ability to read patterns and recognize what is happening beneath the surface to the world of internet dating.

In 10 Dirty Lil’ Secrets That Nobody Wants to Tell You About Internet Dating, Cobb reveals the realities behind the online dating experience, including why some profiles do not match the person behind the screen, how to recognize warning signs early, how to protect yourself from scams and manipulation, and how to stop wasting time on connections that are not what they appear to be.

Through her Rules of Engagement, Cobb gives readers practical strategies for navigating dating apps and online relationships with greater awareness.

Her message is not that people should fear internet dating, it is that they should enter it informed.

Because in the digital dating world, what you don’t know can cost you your time, your emotions, and sometimes much more.

Cheryl Cobb shares:

“I wrote 10 Dirty Lil’ Secrets That Nobody Wants to Tell You About Internet Dating because there are things happening online that people need to know before they give someone access to their life. Internet dating is not going away, so the question becomes: are you prepared? My goal is to expose what people don’t see, challenge what people assume, and give women the tools to date smarter, safer, and with confidence.”

Cobb continues the conversation through the relaunch of her podcast, Sippin’ Tea with Cheryl Cobb, where she delivers candid conversations about internet dating, relationships, dating experiences, and the lessons learned from navigating love in today’s digital world.

Celebrity photographer and disabled Vietnam veteran Jerome Dorn embodies the very definition of resilience. Born in Philadelphia, the fifth of seven children, Dorn stayed focused throughout his youth, eventually obtaining his degree in Criminal Justice. Dorn has worked with the Philadelphia Police Department, Department of Justice, World Wide Detective Agency, and several other high profile security groups. Throughout his successful career, Dorn wrestled with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, an aftereffect of his military service. Battling the pain and debilitating effect of PTSD, Dorn found comfort behind the camera. Photography proved to be not only therapeutic, but life changing as well. Dorn picked up his first camera in 1970 while serving in Vietnam and knew instantly that behind the lens was where he belonged. His shooting style and photographs were special, generating a buzz in the industry. In 1985, he began his career in photojournalism, working in a variety of genres. Dorn’s credentials include fashion, lifestyle photography, photojournalism, and celebrity/red carpet coverage. Working with MSNBC, Jet Magazine, and major publications in Philadelphia and around the country, Dorn has had the honor of capturing the images of hundreds of notable celebrities and politicians including President Barack Obama, George Bush Jr, Bill and Hillary Clinton, Maya Angelou, Jesse Jackson, Rihanna, Snoop Dog, Will Smith, and Tyler Perry. Photography has sent Dorn around the globe, inspiring his passion for civil activism. In 1995, Dorn assembled and led a group of forty-two men to the Million Man March. Together, they spent five days walking from Philadelphia to Washington DC. In his travels, Dorn observed a common theme amongst the youth of the world. Many of the children he encountered seemed lost. Understanding that opportunities for at-risk youth are minimal, Dorn was inspired to make a difference. Established by Dorn in 2011, InDaHouseMedia was built on the idea that there is room in the house for everyone. With InDaHouseMedia, Dorn’s mission is to provide the future generation with positive direction through sports, music, and photography.
